Coron, Palawan - Heaven is a place on earth

Image
Summer of April 2010 my family decided to go to Coron,Palawan. I was able to go to different places in the Philippines, and I find Coron as a truly a majestic place that one must truly see. Not only because of the super duper nice Beaches but also its culture, food, nature attractions and adventures. Coron is both the name of a town on Busuanga. The island is very famous for its wreck diving and snorkeling spots. In September 1944, a fleet of Japanese ships hiding in the harbor were sunk in a daring raid by the US navy. The result is around ten well preserved shipwrecks surrounded with beautiful coral reef. There are also attractions on Coron Island itself. There are many beautifulwhite sand beaches, mostly tiny and surrounded by large limestone cliffs and wildlife. Barracuda and Kayangan lakes are both stunning locations, and the island also has a mysterious indigenous tribe who are notably shy of outsiders. Multiple Intelligence

I recently took the Multiple Intelligence in finding my strength (http://literacyworks.org/mi/assessment/findyourstrengths.html). My lowest score was in Math! hahahahah..as expected...i hate math ever since hahahaha... Here are the results of the Multiple Intelligence test: Musical 4.86 Musical: You like the rhythm and sound of language. You like poems, songs, and jingles. You enjoy humming or singing along with music. You probably remember things well when they are associated with music or rhythm. Try to incorporate sounds into your lessons, such as using a familiar tune, song, or rap beat to teach spelling rules, or to remember words in a series for a test. Here are some other ways to use your musical intelligence: * Create a poem with an emphasis on certain sounds for pronunciation. * Clap out or walk out the sounds of syllables. * Read together (choral reading) to work on fluency and intonation. * Read a story with great emotion — sad, then happy, then angry. Talk about what ...

The Fish Philosophy

Image
The FISH! philosophy is a workplace management system created by John Christensen. It all started on Pike Place Fish Market when Christensen visited the place at Seattle. He saw and realized how employees interact well with each other and how they interact with the people enthusiastically. Employees would fill the order of customers by flinging fish to each other, laughing and enjoying their work and they would even invite people to join them! FISH! is a skill that provides the process, tools and language to generate the skills essential to design a workplace full of inspiration, creativity and innovation. FISH! creates a language that will help develop your culture by using four simple practices. It is an invitation that enables people to care about each other and their commitments. FISH! is an continuing journey. It is a practice and a skill that evolves over time creating a positive workplace and a vibrant culture each time it is embraced. A Quiet town of Donsol, Sorsogon and Whale sharks...

Image
I remember when I was still in my schooling age, my mom and dad would bring me and my brother to my mom's province in Donsol. I still remember the place back on its days where people were so laid back, they would either drink liquor with friends to a small store nearby or sleep around 6:00 PM. Donsol back then wasn't as crowded as it is today. Back on my childhood days, Whale Sharks were feared by the locals because there are instances where their boats accidentally hits the whale sharks and so some of the boat capsizes and thus it leads to death many times not only by people but also with the whale sharks. Some locals were very frightened by the whale sharks and thus resort in killing it. There were also instances where locals hunt whale sharks and sold them to the market or sometimes they will opt to have it for their dinner. If you have been there and experienced swimming with the whale sharks, you may have seen some of them having wounds because of some boats accidentally ...

BE THE EMPLOYEE THAT GOD WANTS YOU TO BE

BE THE EMPLOYEE THAT GOD WANTS YOU TO BE BE FOCUSED. Focus on rendering excellent service in the workplace. Ephesians 6:5 says, “be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ.” Rendering excellent service means obeying with fear and trembling and with sincerity of heart, as if we were working for Jesus. BE CREDIBLE. Be credible at work and people will recognize your integrity. Matthew 5:20 says, “For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.” If there is integrity in your private life, there will be integrity in the workplace. If there is integrity in the workplace, you will be an asset to the company. If you are an asset to the company, you will be a credible witness for Christ as well. BE EXCEPTIONAL. Be exceptional to the point that you are radically different in the eyes of everybody. Matthew 5:16 s...

Dont Worry....

Philippians 4:6-7 Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. I've spent an awful lot of time in my life worrying. I spent my life worrying about: school, my grades, college, what grade will my professor will give me, what will may parents say about me going home late...and many more of that! Yes, I am a worrier! Even people will tell me not to worry anymore, I guess its human nature to worry. But our Lord Jesus says we shouldn't worry one bit because he is with us and would never leave us. As I researched with what's going on with my health right now. I cant help it but to worry.... but i know I will be ok, because my God is a wonderful God and he will never forsake me... Worrying Accomplishes Absolutely Nothing. I don't know ...
